Ketchikan salmon fishing has always been our main industry. Ketchikan, Alaska is surrounded by healthy rivers that draw thousands upon thousands of salmon back to the area every year. Ketchikan was developed when the salmon canneries came in to process the Alaskan salmon fishermen’s catch.
We’re located just under 700 miles from Seattle.
Alaska Airlines and Delta airlines fly directly into Ketchikan, with a short 1 hour and forty five minute flight from Seattle.
You can also access the island by sea via. the State of Alaska’s Marine Highway ferry system. Either through the port at Prince Rupert, British Columbia or Bellingham, Washington.
We are located just 12 miles north of the Ketchikan airport and ferry terminal.
